The attenuation from the main line entrance to the cubicle terminal is around 20dB. Then the main line signal level should be above 60 decibels. The minimum requirement for a digital set-top box is about 45 decibels.
Add a broadband amplifier with a gain of 16-20dB. The model is 7516 or 7520. Because the minimum gain of this type of amplifier is 16 decibels, and too high a gain will affect the signal quality, it is best not to exceed a gain of 20 decibels.
1) Use a mobile phone to check the direction and position of the lightest receiving signal on or around the roof of the building. As the location for installing outdoor antennas, pay attention to lightning protection. The installation height should not be higher than the lightning protection net of the building. Install a lightning rod 1 meter higher than the outdoor antenna and ground it well.
2) After selecting a suitable location, fix the outdoor antenna on the wall or bracket.
3) Select an appropriate location in the relevant indoor location (the best location for the second lowest point is close to the power supply and the outdoor antenna end with rainproof and sunscreen cake), install the indoor repeater, and fix it on the wall or bracket.
